General Instructions

1.The clock will be set at the server. The countdown timer at the top right corner of the screen will display the remaining time available for you to        complete the examination. When the timer reaches zero, the examination will end itself. You will not able to end or submit your paper / examination.

2. The Question Palette displayed on the right side of the screen will show the status of each question using one of the following symbols:

              Answered

              Not Answered

              Not Visited

              Mark for Review

              Answered & Mark for Review (will be considered for Review)

 The Mark For Review status for a question simply indicates that you would like to look at that question again. If a question is answered but marked for review, then the answer to that question will be considered for evaluation unless the status is modified by the candidate.

 Navigating to a Question:

3. To answer a question, do the following.

I. Click in the question number in the Question Palette at the right of your screen to go to that numbered question directly. Note that using this option      does NOT save your answer to the current question.

II. Click on Save & Next to save your answer for the current question and then go to the next question.    

III. Click on Mark for Review & Next to save your answer for the current question and also mark it for review and then go to the next question.

4. Procedure for answering a multiple choice (MCQ) type question.

I. Choose one answer from the 5 options (A,B,C,D,E) given below the question, click on the circle placed before the chosen option.

II. To deselect your chosen answer, click on the circle of the chosen option again or click on the  Click the Response button.

III. To change your chosen answer, click on the circle of another option.

IV. To save your answer, you MUST click on the Save & Next.

5. To mark the question for review, click on Mark for Review & Next button. If an answer is selected for a question that is Marked for Review,    that    answer will be considered for evaluation.

6. To change your answer to a question that has already been answered, first select that question for answering and then follow the procedure for          answering that type of question.

7. Note that ONLY Questions for which answers are saved or marked for review after answering will be considered for evaluation.

8. Sections in this question paper are displayed on the top bar of the screen. Questions in a section can be viewed by clicking on the name of that              section. The section you are currently viewing would be highlighted.

9. After clicking the Save & Next button for the last question in a Section, you will automatically be taken to the first question of the next Section.

10. You can move the mouse cursor over the name of a Section to view the answered question for that Section.

11. Candidates can change the language as per the requirement of the question to better understand the question.

Read the following instructions carefully

• The test contains two sections and total of 130 Questions.
• Each question has 5 options out of which only one is correct.
• You have only 100 mins to finish the test.
• You will be awarded 1.25 or 2 marks for each correct answer and 0.3125 or 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• There is no penalty for the questions that you have not attempted. 

Please note that all questions will appear in your default language.

I have read and understood all the instructions. All computer hardware allotted to me is in proper working condition. I declare that I am not carrying / not wearing any prohibited gadgets. I agree that in case of not adhering to the instructions, I shall be liable to be debarred from this examination and/or to take disciplinary action.
